These Terms of Service govern your use of oshem.co.uk and the services provided through it by Occupational Safety, Health & Environment Management Board Ltd ("OSHEM"), a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17313274), registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. By using this site you agree to these Terms.
OSHEM is an international awarding body. We approve training partner institutes, license them to deliver OSHEM courses and qualifications, and issue certificates to learners who successfully complete assessed training delivered by approved partners. OSHEM does not itself deliver training to the public; training is delivered by independent approved partner institutes under licence.
Partnership tiers, annual fees, and per-certificate fees are published on this site and in the OSHEM Approved Price List. All fees are stated in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include payment processing; no additional card surcharge applies. Partnership is granted subject to OSHEM's published accreditation criteria and a signed Partner Agreement, which takes precedence over these Terms for approved partners. OSHEM may revise published fees with 30 days' written notice to approved partners.
Fees may be paid by bank transfer or by card through OSHEM's secure payment facility (provided by Airwallex). Certificates are released only after the corresponding fees are confirmed as received and the certificate has passed OSHEM's final quality review. Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Certificates remain the property of OSHEM and are issued subject to the accuracy of the information provided by the partner institute. Any certificate may be verified free of charge at oshem.co.uk/verify.html. OSHEM may suspend or revoke any certificate obtained through malpractice, maladministration, misrepresentation, or non-payment, and will record revocations in the verification register.
You must not misuse this site: no attempting unauthorised access, scraping the verification register, uploading malicious code, impersonating OSHEM or its partners, or reproducing certificate designs or site content for any misleading purpose. OSHEM's name, crest, and certificate designs are our intellectual property; approved partners may use OSHEM branding only as permitted by their Partner Agreement and brand guidelines.
We work to keep this site accurate and current, but content is provided "as is" for general information. Course availability, content, and fees may change. Nothing on this site constitutes professional advice for any specific workplace; qualified advice should be sought for specific health and safety decisions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, OSHEM is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site, and our total liability in connection with this site or a certificate is limited to the fees paid to OSHEM for the matter giving rise to the claim.
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and, for partner institutes, the Data Processing Addendum to the Partner Agreement.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change and continued use of the site constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
